Families

Families are most welcome at Tatahi Lodge and our central location means the beach, amenities and all activities are within easy walking distance.

Our garden cottage, Waimarie Villa and motel units are particularly suitable for families being single level and as the Lodge is located down a private driveway there is no direct exposure to road traffic to be concerned about for children.

One of our two bedroom units has been purposely designed for families and has its own private lawn / garden area.

An increasing popular alternative for those families on a budget is our Backpacker Lodge where a 4 bed or 6 bed dormitory can be booked exclusively for your use.

Amenities within walking distance of Tatahi Lodge include a children's playground, tennis courts and reserve. Cafes, icecream parlour and grocery store are situated at the end of our driveway.

Hahei beach is a 400m level walk
from the Lodge.
