Tatahi Cove Backpackers

Tatahi Cove boasts a cozy hideaway like atmosphere set in beautiful gardens overlooking a native bush clad valley. Purpose built, Tatahi Cove hosts a maximum of 23 guests and features a natural timber interior with high cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan to create a real sense of space, yet with a design that allows you to find a private place if you want one. The Lodge comprises a large modern kitchen and two open plan dining/living spaces which lead via French doors to an outside dining and seating area with BBQ’s, a great place to catch up with others or just to relax, soak up the sun and views.

The bedroom accommodation comprises three spacious bunk rooms, two of which sleep 6 and the other 4. These rooms are serviced by 2 bathrooms. At the opposite end of the Lodge we have three private rooms serviced by a shared bathroom. One room is a triple (king bed plus single) another is a double room (king bed or 2 x singles) and the third room is a double (queen bed). All linen and bedding is supplied for our rooms and this includes complimentary toiletries, bathroom & beach towels. Spades for your Hot Water beach dig are provided for a minimal $2 charge.
